For the 2008 Championships the City of Kingston has invited us to host them again at their Grass Creek Park, a venue that has seen several of our Championships and also the venue for the renowned Kingston Sheepdog Trials. This year the event should be doubly interesting as it also combines the celebration for the 20th Anniversay of these trials (first was held in 1988 as the Pittsburgh SDT).
Dog Sponsorship
As a special twentieth anniversary fund raiser,
the Kingston SDT is offering individual dog sponsorships for
$100.
The sponsor of the winning dog and handler will be hosted for a luncheon at the House of Commons, in Ottawa, with the Speaker, Peter Milliken. The luncheon will include a private tour of the House, and speaker's offices, beforehand, on a date to be arranged between the winner and the Speaker's office.
Dog and hands will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Increase chances of winning and help the the trials by buying more than one dog sponsorship.
